Today I attended a meet up with the Alamo Arts Photography Group hosted by Rolando Gomez at the Zoo. I hadn’t been to the zoo since I first started in photography so it was awesome to think about where I have come since I first picked up my camera! Met some great people today and I look forward to networking with everyone and forming some great friendships! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day …

^^ This little guy was just flying around on the zoo grounds stealing the show from the lions and I couldn’t help but get some shots of him!

Ok…my favorite of the entire day… these creatures are just majestic … and you just can’t beat a hippo rumpus :)

shy- love them all, but that hippo rumpus one is fantastic! you should frame it up really big, sign the mat, and gift it to the zoo for a display area… that fish being right front and center with that adorable huge rump floating in the background- ugh! love it!
I love these! I agree about framing the Hippo rear. It is such an artistic shot. you need a witty caption to go with it.

Apple presenting Rhapsody for app, that is a great start, however it is currently hampered through the wherewithal to store locally on the iPod, and possesses a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this type of changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage with the Zune, but the 10 songs a month will still be a large plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
Between me and my hubby we’ve owned more Audio players over the years than I could count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve been feeling relaxed to a single line of players. Why? Because I became pleased to see how well-designed and fun to work with the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
