Tawny’s bridals were interesting to say the least.
Circumstances:
Wedding is in a little more than 2 weeks
Wedding dress 12 sizes to big!!! (LITERALLY) We won’t bad mouth her dress company on the blog ;)
Lots of mud….
And um… mosquitoes resembling the horror movie “Birds” (You can actually see them in the sunset photos!)
Despite all the bad we still had a rockin session! Tawny is nothing less that amazing!! And a special thanks to her Mom and Aunt for all the help and enduring the many many mosquito bites they got.
Here are some of my favorites!!

That top hat is soo cute. That 3rd picture down is great too, beautiful colors.
Vavavoom! As they say in France, or rather in a British television advert for a French car. Anyway :~) Vavavoom indeed! Fantastic photos of a beautiful bride Shyann, and good on you for braving the savagery of mother nature; you’re a true pro and a fantastic photographer. Semper fi!
These are SO beautiful! I really love love love the one of her alone w/ the sky all blue and purple! GORGEOUS!

Shyann, the pictures are amazing considering the pain everyone endured with the mosquitos!! I can’t believe you actually got such a great shot with the dogs…that was a chore! I love them all…can’t wait to see the rest. Thanks for making my daughter’s memories so special with all your talent.
I love this series… The top hat on the dog is hilarious to me and I really like that blue wall you shot on for the slideshow head photo… great work as always!
Haha, y’all are such troopers. (Adds a can of bug repellent to camera bag.)
Did you pin the dress in the back like fashion photographers do?
really beautiful stuff Shy, the textures and the processing work perfectly.
Oh I love these. I love the first shot with the arty texture, and I want the umbrella, where’s it from!?
OMG… I would had been eaten ALIVE from those mosquitoes!! Literally… one over night camping trip I had over 100 bites and I was wearing long sleeve EVERYTHING!
AND I LOVE the umbrella shots… You know me. :) Gorgeous session! You can’t tell at all that the dress is too big… its beautiful!
Awesome work :)
Gorgeous bride! And that sure is a lot of mosquitos
Beautiful light, and a stunning Bride! I love the first couple in the field with the sunset – very nice!
Beautiful bride…taking one for the team with those skitos!! Great session.
WOW how did you not get attacked by all of those mosquitos?!?!? Great session though! The texture on your first shot is stellar!!
Awesome stuff!!! Love it!!
Hmmmmm…I think I remember this parasol. ;) Great session Shy! Especially despite all of the “setbacks” with the dress and blood-sucking insects! She is gorgeous! Can’t wait to come down to help you out with the wedding!!
She is sooo gorgeous… where did you got this kind of bride.. gorgeous and great in pose too… great job!
Beautiful subject and great work. The texturizing in the first photo is really interesting.
Ohmigoodness! I’m in love with the textures you used. Seriously – great great great. Takes my breath away.
Gotta pack that bug spray! Almost an essential part of my camera bag. Great session, Shyann. Those dogs are so awesome :)
Beautiful bridals Shy! Gorgeous bride and lovely evening sunsets. The poodles, tophat, bride, umbrealla…perfection. Love it.
And all of a sudden I’m not so jealous of your Texas weather…
These are stunning, Shy. Truly beautiful images.
loooove the last shot Shyann!
haha, am i the only one left a bit itchy thinking of the mosquitoes??? :o)
I love these! She is a gorgeous bride. Mosquitoes are such a nuisance. I think the one with the dogs is my fav but I love them all.
I am a sucker for a parasol in photos, but I can’t get over how cute those dogs are!

WHAT? 12 sizes to big? Holy smokes, I couldn’t even tell. Way to rock the session, even with all the drama!
Love the dogs and parasol photo. This seems to be the first documented use of Photoshops little known filter called: “mosquito counter” :)
wow – the photos are worth it but wow, those suckers are horrible! maybe they just wanted to be in the photos ;-)
Awesome photos, especially the first one. Heheheh, you might be the first wedding photographer that managed to take photos of mosquitoes as well :)
Love the shots! Especially love the night shot, looks like you went thru a tough time with the mosquitos!
Beautiful work. Love the use of texture in the first shot, give it a great feel.
Beautiful sunset photos of the bride with the umbrella and hope the mosquitoes didn’t bite you as much.
