We were elated when Carmela and her fiancé, Ruben agreed to model for this styled elopement session in the woods, but don’t worry they are not actually married yet. We will be photographing Carmela and Ruben’s upcoming wedding in June, and after their recent engagement session, we fell in love with their personalties and style. Carmela is incredibly talented, so we didn’t have to direct her far when it came to our vision. We knew they would be the perfect subjects. They are a ridiculously good looking couple, after all. Who wouldn’t want to photograph these beings?!
On the day of the session, Carmela and Ruben didn’t disappoint. Carmela arrived with a gorgeous lace gown from Free People that was accessorized with handmade jewelry, a floral crown, bouquet and boutonniere. Ruben was dressed in mint slacks that coordinated perfectly with the blush tones in the hand-crafted floral arrangements. The polka-dotted bow tie was icing on the cake.
