With Demi and Garrett’s big day being in just two short weeks I’m dedicating this post to them! I had an amazing time shooting their engagement photo’s out on their families private property. One thing I love about being a photographer is being able to capture the connection between two people. You can see the sparks between these two just by looking at these photo’s. Having a fun, charismatic, humble couple like this makes my job even more enjoyable. The transition between looking sweet and whimsical to romantic and mysterious allowed more room for different styled shots while using the same setting. It’s always fun to play dressup for a photo shoot! You leave the session feeling secure about getting those magical shot’s.
An upside to having an outside engagement session.. there is so many different settings to play with! I really enjoyed going over to the lake on the property. I think we can all agree when I say Demi and Garrett have that special glow sitting next to the water. Which by the way is that blue upclose in person! They brought out all the beauty this place had to offer.
Moving onto those fun earthy shots… there is something about that ruby red dress and the golden wheat that looks so mesmerizing. The two complimenting colors really set the fall tone for the day. Demi looked like an absolute goddess when they stepped out into the fields. That light. The dress. The electricity! There wasn’t a place on this property where that glow didn’t show for these lovebirds.
