I am still swooning over the bridals from Jessica’s bridal session. Lets just take a minute to drool over this gorgeous off the shoulder lace dress! These are always the hardest sessions because I have sit on the images. I can’t share them even when I am happy dancing in delight about them!! So finally… they are here to share!
Why even do a bridal session you ask?
Well, its a fabulous way to find out exactly what works and what what won’t for your wedding day. Sometimes during the session you realize your hair may fall in way you didn’t expect. The lipstick you chose isn’t quite the shade you thought it would be. The dress need to be hemmed a bit or tucked in here and there.
You can shake things up a bit and do things a little different from your wedding day. Jessica chose to wear this insanely gorgeous floral crown from Reiley and Rose Floral Design. I am totally obsessed with it. For her wedding day she chose a sweet pearl and jewel hair piece.
I always recommend to not skimp on your bouquet for your bridals either, florals really help bringing it all together for your session and truly make it look polished and stunning! Plus a gorgeous bouquet really helps with the pesky what do I do with my hands thoughts running through every brides mind! I have giant heart eyes for the large silver dollar eucalyptus Reiley and Rose used for this set!
Where should you do your bridal session? I always suggest somewhere other then your venue, UNLESS you think you will have zero time for them on your wedding day. (I will always take a few on the day of as long as time permits.)
Variety is the spice of life! I say pick a venue you love but didn’t book. A family property with gorgeous views (Like Jessica did). Greenhouse are a beautiful backdrop or a pretty park. There are lots of urban spaces in San Antonio and Austin, even New Braunfels if you aren’t looking for fields and flowers. Really the sky is the limit (and maybe somewhere your dress won’t get too dirty, but there are ways around that!)
