Engagement sessions are such a great way to get to know each other, it really helps me see how my couples interact and love on each other, because lets face it, every couple is different. My favorite engagement sessions are the ones where we go explore some place beautiful which is exactly what Ana and Brandon and I got to do for their river engagement session. The Cibolo Nature Center is so beautiful with tall grass and gorgeous river stream running through it with big beautiful giant trees. Small touches like a floral crown or small bouquet can really bring a session together. We went above and beyond with Ana and Brandons session and decided to add a smoke bomb! I just LOVE working with the out of ordinary and the smoke bombs were so much fun I have added them as an upgrade to weddings or engagement sessions!
Ever wonder what the heck you should wear to a session? I am happy to help and have put together a helpful pinterest boardĀ for my clients to assist in coordinating outfits and choosing a great style. When you look good, you feel good and then the photos look good so I’m always here to help with any questions!
Some things to bring: Plan to bring comfortable shoes even if its just a pair of flip flops or flats to get you from one point to the another, not all session locations have easy access and trails (Which makes them all that more amazing in my opinion!)
A towel or small sheet or pillow case, or even better a gorgeous quilt to sit on. (I have one I can provide too)
It’s Texas so some OFF or mosquito repellent is always a good item to have, although I try to remember I sometimes forget to bring it too!
Ultimately, just bringing a good attitude and gorgeous smiles is all you need to get some amazing engagement photos!
