Let’s Elope!
One of the most epic elopements I have ever had the pleasure to be apart of has to be Ashley and James’. These lovebirds decided to ditch the traditional ways and have an adventure. We headed up the road to Pedernales Falls for one of the most romantic sessions yet.
Elopements are my favorite sessions. I love the spontaneity feeling you get when looking at an elopement session. Honestly, if we could do it all over my husband and I would elope. We would say yes to any adventurous opportunity! What I like about eloping is you still get to have an amazing dress, photographer, and location. When it comes to the word elope most people will think sweet and simple. Which for some might just be perfect but that’s not the only way it can be done. You can very much have the dress of your dreams when saying yes to the person of your dreams while in the middle of the Rocky Mountains.
At the end of the day, all that matters is that you’re with your better half. It’s the perfect excuse to pick a unique location and what’s more romantic than embarking on an adventure to celebrate your love?!
Pedernales Falls and All Its Glory
Ashley and James couldn’t have picked a more romantic location in Texas. Pedernales Falls really showed all its glory for us. I can’t help but think that it’s all thanks to that gorgeous sky. We were not expecting this insane storm to come and visit but we are glad it did! I wanted to cover every inch of this place but once that lightning started striking down we figured it was time to wrap it up! I’m pretty sure Ashley started fearing for her life because of how dedicated I was to get that perfect lightning shot! Can you blame a photographer though? I basically had front row tickets to a light show, it was mesmerizing.
